For me, as a beginner kiter, the races and the overall course of the event were a tremendous experience, opportunity and experience. It was my first experience with racing and my first experience with kiting in the Czech Republic. To be honest, I went to the races pretty shaken up from all the unpleasant incidents that can happen both when launching and landing a kite. After the first time I got into the water, all that fear thankfully subsided. Even though I don’t have that much experience, I didn’t let myself be fooled and intimidated and participated in all categories. <\/p>\n

The first category <\/span>was a hydrofoil. I had a great time with GIN Spirit 12qm. She did <\/span>I’m pushing my limits higher and hopefully on a race foil in the near future, <\/span>along with a race kit. <\/span> <\/p>\n

Slalom on twintips followed. My kite remained <\/span>the same after slight gusts. Unfortunately, the slalom didn’t turn out the best for me. She made it <\/span>I’ve gotten mixed up with another race kit. Fortunately, nothing happened to us or the kits <\/span>didn’t happen. <\/span><\/p>\n

And finally came the freestyle. As girls, we were tasked as <\/span>test dummies and released on the water. Me with a 15qm GIN Spirit chamber into weak <\/span>wind. It didn’t take long for the unexpected gusts to arrive and reach <\/span>of an unpleasant slamming of my kit. Even with this inconvenience, I was <\/span>tried to leave everything on the water. <\/span><\/p>\n

Even though I wasn’t completely happy, I’m proud of <\/span>the courage I showed and the effort I showed. After all, <\/span>that’s the only way I’m gonna get all this experience. I can’t wait for next year, where <\/span>I’ll have the opportunity to show what’s really inside me!<\/span><\/p>\n
