Kitetrip MAROKO / Essaouira
Morocco is a land of many possibilities, smells and great experiences. We operate in the picturesque town of Essaouira, whose historic centre is part of the UNESCO heritage and is rightly considered the city of wind sports. There is no better place for kitesurfing in Morocco (perhaps only the famous Dakhla, which is 1200 km further south). In Essaouira, the high season is from April to October and the winds are very frequent and quite strong. In short, exactly what you need for a proper kitesurfing progression, whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced rider.
The location offers long and wide beaches, shallow water about 150 m to the sea, attractive accommodation and a wide range of secondary activities. Essaouira is also a popular family holiday destination, especially for the French, Germans and Brits.

Accommodation
We are staying in a rented apartment, which offers everything we need and is located practically on the beach. From a fully equipped kitchen, to nice facilities ala maghrib, audio-video, to classic toilets and balcony. Even the tap water here is drinkable. Essaouira is a more luxurious centre, with more expensive cars and everything is nicely landscaped. The medina is beautiful, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a wealth of goods worth billions of dirhams. We usually cook our own freshly caught fish (bought at the fish market) with vegetables, the famous mutton or beef sausages and go to local bistros and restaurants.
Transport
We will fly to Morocco. From Berlin to Marrakech, where either a bus or a car will take us to the coastal town of Essaouira. A carpool to Berlin airport is a matter of course.
