Before I get into the description of the dragon and the bar itself, it’s definitely worth mentioning a few things about AEROS. I myself didn’t really notice this brand until last year, but I have to say that kites from this brand always pleasantly surprise me. There is no shortage of quality materials and workmanship and great flight characteristics. The difference is that they don’t try to come up with an innovation every year at any cost, so you can expect functionality and quality from kites without unnecessary “gadgets”, which sometimes turn out to be a step wrong with big brands.
The Dragon:
As the name suggests, this is the third generation of this kite. Which has received some improvements such as longer hangtime in jumps and more comfort in freeride riding. Compared to the previous version, it has definitely not lost any of the features such as excellent climbability and speed.
Who’s it for?
AEROS Cruiser is mainly focused on freeride, allround. The kite has direct and legible steering with a nice response on the bar. There is no major fussing and washing on the bar with the kite and the bar pull is just right. The kite is very nice in jumps and even in stronger winds it is beautifully stable. However, it will definitely make even beginners happy and they will love it right away because of its easy handling. I myself was surprised how easily the kite restarts from the water in most cases it turns itself on its ear. Just restart completely free! It forgives errors well and is very stable.
Kite is available in sizes 5,7,9,11,13,16
Matrial and processing:
The material used is “Double TechnoFibre ripstop” and in the reinforcements “Demention polyant Dacron”. These are some of the best materials on the market. As I mentioned above, the kite has direct steering and this is achieved thanks to the balance. You won’t find any pulleys here, and this is what makes the bar response so nice, the control is precise and fast. The overall workmanship is very high quality, more can be seen in the attached photos. On the water, no one will miss you with this kite, because these kites are simply different from the rest of the “mainstream”.
Warranty and repairs:
As far as the warranty is concerned, it is a classic 24 months and if there is any damage to the kite, it can be repaired in an authorized service center in the Czech Republic, and in case of major repairs the kite is sent directly to the factory where it was manufactured! Where the repair time is up to 14 days!
Pros:
simplicity and quality of workmanship, excellent handling, speed, climbability, onepump system with large valve
cons: you won’t want to get out of the water
